Use the Meta and Google Ads pages

A tour of the Meta and Google pages: campaigns, ad sets and ads with targeting, plus Google ad groups, keywords, search terms and Shopping products.

3 min readUpdated 7 October 2026

Each connected ad platform has its own pages under Paid Media. Meta and Google appear in the strip only while they are connected.

Before you start

  • You need a role that can view paid media, and a plan that includes it (Growth or higher). Agency staff and brands covered by their agency's plan are never locked.
  • Connect Meta or Google Ads in Settings, Integrations.
  • Ad groups, keywords and search terms are read from 2 October 2026, with the 90 days before filled in.

Meta

Choose Paid Media, then Meta. Its strip holds Overview, Campaigns, Ad sets and Ads.

Overview

Meta's tiles (spend, the revenue and purchases Meta attributes, clicks and more), Spend and revenue by day, and a table of campaigns.

Campaigns, Ad sets and Ads

  1. Open Campaigns. Choose how the chart reads: Spend, Revenue or ROAS, and group by Campaigns or Types.
  2. Use the views: every campaign, Last-click orders, Spend, no orders and Active. Filter by Result or Delivery, or search.
  3. Choose a campaign to see its ad sets, then an ad set to see its ads. Clear drill goes back to every campaign.
  4. Under an ad set, its targeting shows above its ads: Audiences in, Audiences left out, Countries, Who (ages and genders), Placements and Detailed targeting, with the date it was read.
ColumnMeaning
SpendWhat the campaign, ad set or ad spent

First-click orders, Assisted ordersOrders where it was the first click, or a touch in between (Intelligence)
Platform purchases, Platform value, Platform ROASMeta's own figures
GapPlatform purchases against last-click orders

Use Columns to add Delivery, Clicks and the net sales columns.

Google

Choose Paid Media, then Google. Its strip holds Overview, Campaigns, Ad groups, Keywords, Search terms and Shopping products.

  • Campaigns: as for Meta, with Campaign types (Search is split on whether it is branded; Other has no type recorded).
  • Ad groups: ad groups of every campaign type. Performance Max has no ad groups.
  • Keywords: each keyword with its match type and Quality Score. Hover the score for Google's three ratings: expected click rate, ad relevance and landing page.
  • Search terms: what people searched before clicking. Choose Not yet keywords to find terms worth adding, or All terms. The Keyword column says Already a keyword or Not a keyword.
  • Shopping products: each product's ad revenue less cost of goods, fees and spend.

Each list shows impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, cost per conversion and ROAS, with the change on the comparison period. Choose Spend, Conversions or Conversion value for the chart.

Troubleshooting

  • "No campaign spend in this period": widen the date range, or check the ad account's sync.
  • "Campaign figures could not be loaded": no figure is shown rather than a wrong one. Try again.
  • "No ... with spend in this period" on Google: widen the range. Periods before the data start show nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Why do Last-click orders differ from Platform purchases?

Platform purchases are what Meta or Google report on their own rules. Last-click orders are the orders Fabrik credits to that campaign on the last click it can see. The Gap column compares the two.

Why are the First-click and Assisted columns locked?

Those columns come from order journeys, which are part of Intelligence. They need a plan that includes Intelligence.

Why do search terms add up to less than my campaigns?

Only search terms with at least one click are stored. Google also withholds rarely searched terms, and Performance Max terms are not in its search term report.

Why does a keyword have no Quality Score?

Google gives no score to a keyword with too few searches. Quality Score and its three ratings are Google's as they stand today; Google keeps no history of them.

Why can I not see Google ads, only campaigns?

Fabrik stores Google campaigns, ad groups, keywords and search terms, not individual Google ads. Meta is stored down to each ad.

Why is Shopping products locked?

Shopping products shows each product's ad profit after cost of goods and fees, which sits with the P&L. It needs a plan that includes the P&L.

Why is an ad set's targeting Not read yet?

Targeting is read once a day for ad sets that delivered in the last 28 days. It appears after the next daily read.
