Export orders, products and customers
How to download a CSV from the order list, customer list or product catalogue, what each file holds, and who can export on which plan.

You can download a CSV file from the three records lists: Order list, Customer list and the product Catalogue. Each export holds exactly what the list shows, so filter first and export second.
Before you start
- You need a role that can view commerce, and a plan that includes the lists (Growth or higher). Agency staff and brands covered by their agency's plan are never locked.
- Agency staff need two-factor sign-in turned on to export orders or customers.
- Exported files hold customer names and emails. Keep them safe and delete them when you no longer need them.
Step by step
- Open the brand and go to the list:
- Orders, then Order list
- Customers, then Customer list
- Products, then Catalogue (choose Products or Variants first)
- Set the date range (orders and catalogue), filters, search or saved view so the list shows what you want.
- Choose Export, then Export CSV.
- The file downloads to your computer, named after the list.
To export only some products, select them in the catalogue and choose Export selected.
What you will see
Orders file
Order, Date, Customer, Email, Customer type, Tier, Channel, Source (the pixel's first touch), Gross sales, Discounts, Returns, Net sales, COGS, Fees, Profit and Margin.
Customers file
Customer, Email, Tier, Orders, Revenue, COGS, Profit, AOV, Return rate, Discount rate, First order and Last order.
Products file
Product, Type, Vendor, Status, Tier, Revenue, gross profit, Margin, Units, Inventory, Days of stock, Sell-through, Views and conversion rate.
Variants file
Product, Variant, SKU, Price, Revenue, Units, Inventory, rate of sale a day, Days of stock, Tier and units over 90 days.
Every figure follows the brand's Shopify filter, so excluded orders are not in the file.
Tips
- Save a view first. If you export the same selection every month, save it with Save view on the list. Next time, choose the view's tab, set the dates and export.
- Match a period. The order list and catalogue follow the date control, so pick the same period you report on. The customer list is every customer's lifetime; use Last order within to narrow it.
- Hidden columns are still exported. The file holds its full set of columns whatever you show on screen.
- Large lists take a moment. The list must finish loading before Export appears with every row.
Troubleshooting
- The file has fewer rows than expected: check the filters, search and view, and widen the date range.
- Export asks for two-factor sign-in: choose it and follow the steps to set up an authenticator app.
