Read the brand Dashboard
What every tile, chart and card on a brand's Dashboard means, how to change the period and comparison, and what the Live page shows today.
4 min readUpdated 7 October 2026
The Dashboard is the brand's measurement page. Pick any period and a comparison, and it answers: are we on track, is it profitable, what drove it, what is selling, and what is about to stop. Findings and lists of changes live on Intelligence and Home, not here.
Before you start
- You need a role that can view the dashboard.
- Sales figures need Shopify connected. Sessions and conversion need the Fabrik pixel. Ad figures need Meta or Google Ads.
- On the Free plan the Dashboard shows the last 30 days. Some cards are locked on lower plans and say so where they sit.
Step by step: choose a period and comparison
- Open the brand and choose Dashboard, then Overview.
- Open the date control at the top right. Choose a preset (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, This week, This month, This quarter, This year, Last week, Last month, Last quarter, Last year, and the financial year options when a financial year is set) or type or pick your own dates.
- Under Compare, choose Previous period, Previous month, Year-over-year, Average of the same weekday (8 weeks) or No comparison.
- A preset applies straight away. For your own dates or a new comparison, choose Apply. Weeks run Monday to Sunday.
- Use the currency control to show figures in another currency where the brand has more than one.
What you will see
The trend
A full-width chart of whichever tile you last chose, with the comparison as a second line. When a monthly target applies it adds the target pace (for example "Target pace, £2,000 a day") and the projected finish. Markers above the chart show changes from the timeline; switch them with Changes on. Each chart can switch to a table.
Eight tiles
| Tile | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Net sales (or your default) | Gross sales less discounts and returns |
| CM3 | Profit after cost of goods, variable costs and ad spend |
| MER % | Ad spend as a share of net sales and shipping. Lower is better |
| New customer CPA | Ad spend divided by new customers |
| Sessions | Visits the Fabrik pixel recorded |
| Conversion rate | Sessions with a purchase as a share of sessions |
| AOV | Gross sales divided by orders |
| Orders | Orders placed in the period |
Each tile shows its change on the comparison and a small line. Choose a tile to put it on the trend chart.
Cards below
- By channel: net sales by channel on Fabrik's own attribution, against each channel's ad spend. Opens Paid Media.
- By market: sales by delivery country, with each market's verdict where one is given. Opens Markets.
- Top products: this period against the last, with net sales, units and sell-through.
- Key sizes sold out: sizes of products that matter which have sold out, with Open in Intelligence.
- Where the money went: one row of the P&L from net sales and shipping, through cost of goods, gross profit, fees and variable costs and CM2, to ad spend and CM3. Opens the P&L.
Below these are the department walls (Revenue and margins, Products, Customers, Analytics, Marketing, Email and SMS), each heading linking to its own page.
The Live page
Choose Live in the Dashboard's strip. It shows today only and refreshes every minute: Sessions by hour, today against last week, Today, from product view to purchase, Sessions by channel today, Recent events and Latest orders. It needs the pixel; without it you see "No pixel data yet" and a Set up pixel button.
Troubleshooting
- "Daily figures failed to load": the chart is not drawn rather than drawn wrong. Refresh the page.
- A tile says Could not load: the period's totals failed. Try again in a moment.
- Older dates look empty on a new brand: history is still importing. Home shows its progress.
