Approve new permissions in Shopify
Why Shopify sometimes asks you to approve Fabrik Analytics again, and how to do it by opening the app from your Shopify admin.

Shopify decides what an app can read. When Fabrik Analytics adds a feature that needs something new from your store, Shopify asks the store to approve the extra permission before the app can use it. Until then, everything that already worked keeps working.
Before you start
- You need access to the store's Shopify admin with permission to manage apps.
Approve from your Shopify admin
- Sign in to your Shopify admin.
- Open Apps and choose Fabrik Analytics.
- If there are permissions waiting, Shopify shows a screen listing them. Review and approve.
- Fabrik Analytics opens. Nothing else is needed.
When Fabrik Analytics tells you
If Fabrik Analytics notices the store's access has lapsed or is missing a permission, Settings, Integrations shows a notice above the Shopify row titled Shopify permissions out of date or Shopify connection needs attention. Open Fabrik Analytics from Apps in your Shopify admin, as above.
What you will see
- The notice on the Integrations page disappears once Fabrik Analytics next checks the connection and finds the access in place. The check runs periodically, so allow a little time.
- Features that needed the new permission start filling in on their next sync.
Troubleshooting
- You do not see Fabrik Analytics under Apps: the app has been uninstalled. Install it again from the Shopify App Store.
- The notice is still there a day later: email support@fabrik.ae with your store name.
