Signing in for the first time without an invitation
What happens when you sign in or sign up without an invitation: agency staff join their agency, company addresses ask to join, and the rest get nothing.

Fabrik Analytics never gives access just because someone signs in. Without an invitation, what happens depends on who you are and the address you use.
The four cases

If nothing matches
- With Google from the sign-in page: the login is not kept. You are signed out and see "No Fabrik workspace uses this Google account. To start one, choose Sign up free and pick brand or agency."
- With an email and password: you see No Fabrik workspace found, with Create a brand workspace, Connect Shopify, Check again and Sign out.
Choosing Create a brand workspace starts your own brand. If your company already uses Fabrik Analytics it says "Your company already uses Fabrik: we have asked its owner to add you." If the address belongs to an agency it says "This address belongs to an agency. Ask the agency's owner for an invitation."
Agency staff on their first day
If your agency runs its joiner checklist in People, you also get an invitation email at 09:00 your time on your first day. Either way works: accept the invitation, or sign in with your work email. Staff must then set up two-factor sign-in within 14 days. See Set up two-factor sign-in.
Troubleshooting
"Access Denied" after Google with a message naming an invitation's address: you came from an invitation but chose a different Google account. Open the invitation again and choose the invited address. See Accept an invitation.
Database temporarily busy: the app could not read your access. It retries on its own; choose Retry now or sign out and back in.
