Why was I signed out?
Fabrik Analytics signs you out after 30 minutes without activity, or 12 hours after you signed in. Here is what counts as activity and how to get back in.

The two limits
- 30 minutes without activity. Moving the mouse, typing, scrolling or touching the screen in any Fabrik Analytics tab counts as activity. A tab left open with nobody using it does not.
- 12 hours after you signed in. However active you are, you sign in again after 12 hours. This is counted from when you signed in, not from the last time you used the app.
What you will see
- Two minutes before either limit, a window appears with a countdown:
- Are you still there? for the 30 minute limit: "You have not used Fabrik for a while. For your security you will be signed out in" the time shown.
- Your session is ending for the 12 hour limit: "You have been signed in for 12 hours, the most a session lasts."
- Choose Stay signed in to carry on. It appears for the 30 minute limit only. At the 12 hour limit you can only save your work or choose Sign out now.
- If you do nothing, you are signed out when the countdown ends and taken to the sign-in page, which says why: "You were signed out after 30 minutes without activity" or "You were signed in for 12 hours, so we signed you out".
Signing back in
- Sign in with the same method you used before: email and password, or Google.
- If two-factor is switched on for your login, enter the code from your authenticator app.
- You return to your start page, not the page you were on. Choose it again from the menu.
If you are signed out sooner than expected
- Check the browser is not clearing site data when you close it (private windows do this).
- Check the computer's clock is set automatically. A clock that is wrong by minutes can end a session early.
- If it keeps happening, email support@fabrik.ae with the time it happened and the browser you use.
