Marketing measurement and your data

What the cookie choice on the sign-up page covers, what Fabrik Analytics measures about your sign-up, and how to withdraw it.

3 min readUpdated 7 October 2026

Fabrik Analytics measures its own marketing, such as which ads led people to sign up. This is separate from the analytics you see about your own brand, and it only happens with your consent.

What you choose at sign-up

On fabrikanalytics.com, or on the app's sign-up page if you have not chosen yet, a Cookies on this page banner offers:

  • Essential: keeps you signed in and remembers this choice. Always on.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, which pages and steps are used.
  • Marketing: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, whether our ads led to your sign-up.

Choose Reject all, Accept all, or Manage choices then Save choices. Your choice on the website comes with you to the sign-up page. To change it before signing up, choose Cookie settings at the foot of the sign-up page.

What is measured after sign-up

Once you are signed in, no tracking tags run in your browser. Instead, a few moments are counted from our server, only with the matching consent:

  • your trial starting;
  • starting a checkout;
  • a payment.

Each event is sent once. No email address, name, phone number or IP address is included, and your brand's figures and your customers' data are never part of it.

Before you start

You can change your choice later only if your sign-up recorded one. Invited users and agency staff are not measured, so there is nothing to change for them.

  1. Choose your picture in the top right, then My profile.
  2. Find Marketing measurement: "Whether Fabrik may count your sign-up, trial and payments in its own Google Analytics and Meta ads reporting."
  3. Switch Analytics (Google Analytics) or Marketing (Meta) off, or back on.
  4. You see Choice saved.

What you will see

Switching a choice off deletes the identifiers kept for it at once, and nothing more is sent for that kind of measurement. Identifiers are kept for at most 13 months (Google Analytics) or 30 days (Meta) even if you leave them on.

Troubleshooting

"Your choice was not saved": try again in a moment.

The banner keeps appearing: your browser may be clearing site data or blocking storage, for example in a private window.

Frequently asked questions

Does Fabrik Analytics run tracking tags inside the app?

Only on the sign-up page, and only before you are signed in. Once you are signed in, no marketing tags run on any page.

What is measured?

With your consent, whether you signed up, started a trial or made a payment, so Fabrik can see which of its own campaigns work. It never includes your brand's sales or your customers' data.

Do you send my email address to Google or Meta?

No. No email, name, phone number or IP address is kept for this.

How long are the identifiers kept?

Google Analytics identifiers for 13 months and Meta identifiers for 30 days, and only if you agreed to that kind of measurement.

I do not see Marketing measurement in My profile.

It only appears when your sign-up recorded a choice. Invited users, agency staff and accounts made before the setting existed have nothing recorded, so there is nothing to change.

Does my browser's Global Privacy Control setting count?

Yes. It is treated as a no to marketing measurement.
