Sign up on the website without a store
Create your Fabrik Analytics account before installing on Shopify, then connect your store so it joins the brand you made, never a second one.

You can create your account before connecting Shopify. Your brand workspace is made straight away, and the setup wizard then asks you to connect your store by installing Fabrik Analytics from the Shopify App Store.
Before you start
- Decide whether you are signing up as a brand (you run one store, or a few) or as an agency (you manage analytics for client brands). This article covers brands.
- If your company already has a Fabrik Analytics workspace, do not sign up. Ask its owner to invite you, see Invite a colleague.
- Fabrik Analytics works with Shopify stores. You will need to connect one to see any figures.
Step by step
- On fabrikanalytics.com choose sign up. The page asks How will you use Fabrik?
- Choose I'm a brand ("Connect my store and see my own numbers."). The page becomes Create your brand account.
- Fill in the form:
- Brand / company name. This becomes your workspace's name.
- Agency ID (optional). Enter it only if an agency that uses Fabrik Analytics already works with you.
- Full Name, Email and Password (at least 12 characters, with upper and lower case letters and a number).
- Choose Create free account, or Continue with Google to sign up with your Google account instead of a password. By creating an account you agree to the Terms of service and Privacy policy linked under the button.
- If you see Check your email, open the email we sent and click the link.
- The setup wizard opens on its Shopify step.
Connect your store
- Stay signed in to Fabrik Analytics.
- In the same browser, open Fabrik Analytics on the Shopify App Store, install it and approve the permissions.
- Shopify sends you back to Fabrik Analytics. Because you are signed in, the store joins the brand you made and the wizard opens again, now on Pixel & Tracking.
Carry on with Finish the setup wizard.
What happens with a company email address
If your email's domain (for example fellwick.com) is already listed against a brand in Fabrik Analytics, your sign-up does not make a new workspace. It becomes a request to join that brand, and you see Awaiting approval until someone approves it. See Requests to join your brand. Public addresses such as Gmail or Outlook are never matched this way.
If your email belongs to an agency's own domain, no brand is made either: ask the agency for an invitation.
What you will see
- Your brand on the free plan, with Pro features while setup is unfinished. Your 14-day Pro trial starts when you press Start at the end of setup.
- If the website asked about cookies, your choice comes with you. If not, the sign-up page asks once. See Marketing measurement and your data.
Troubleshooting
"An account already exists": that email already has a login. Choose Sign in, or Reset password.
Shopify sent me to the sign-up form after installing: you were signed out. Keep that tab open, sign in to Fabrik Analytics in a new tab, then come back and reload the sign-up tab. The store then joins your brand.
"Connection issue": the app could not reach our servers. Try again, or choose Reset session & retry.
"No Fabrik workspace found" after signing in with Google: your login is not linked to a brand or agency yet. Choose Create a brand workspace to make one now, Connect Shopify to install the app from the Shopify App Store, or ask whoever runs your company's workspace for an invitation.
