Edit your profile and start page

Change your name, photo, job title and phone, and choose which brand, portfolio or page Fabrik Analytics opens on when you sign in.

My profile holds your own details: the name and photo others see, and where Fabrik Analytics opens when you sign in.

Before you start

Everyone can edit their own profile. Agency staff see the menu item as Account settings; brand users see My profile. Both open the same window.

Edit your profile

Choose your picture in the top right.
Choose My profile (or Account settings).
To change your photo, choose the picture at the top, pick an image and crop it to the circle. You see Avatar updated when it is saved.
Edit Full Name, Job Title, Department and Phone as needed.
Choose Save. You see Profile updated.

Choose your start page

From My profile

Open My profile.
Under Open Fabrik on, open the list.
Pick Default, or a place under Agency, Portfolios or Brands, as your access allows. With many places, type to search.
Choose Save.

From any page

Go to the brand, portfolio or agency page you want to open on.
Choose your picture, then Make this my start page.
You see "Fabrik will open here from now on. Change it in My profile."

Make this my start page only appears where it is useful: a brand user with a single brand already opens there.

What you will see

Your name and photo appear in the top bar and anywhere your colleagues see you, such as the account team on a client's Home.
Next time you sign in you land on your chosen start page. Fabrik Analytics always checks you can still reach it. If you cannot, it opens your default page.

Other settings in My profile

Notifications: choose Manage to set which emails and in-app notifications you get. See Choose which notifications you receive.

Troubleshooting

"Failed to save": your changes were not saved. Try again in a moment.

"Profile saved, but your start page was not": your details saved but the start page did not. Open My profile again and pick it once more.

"Upload failed": try a smaller image in a common format such as JPG or PNG.

"Your start page choices could not be read.": Fabrik Analytics opens on your default page. Close and reopen My profile.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the email address I sign in with?

Not from My profile. Email support@fabrik.ae from your current address with the new one. We email you when your sign-in email changes.

Where does Fabrik Analytics open by default?

Brand users open on their brand's Home. Agency staff open on the agency's Home. Choose another place under Open Fabrik on.

Why can I not choose a start page?

If you can only reach one place, there is nothing to choose, and My profile says Fabrik opens on that place, the only place you can reach.

My start page says no longer available.

You have lost access to the place you chose. Fabrik Analytics opens on your default page instead. If your access comes back, your choice works again. Pick another place to clear the message.

Who sees my photo?

People you work with. For example, a brand's users see their agency account team's photos on Home, and agency staff see each other's.

Where do I change my password?

Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. There is no password form in My profile.
