Accept an invitation

An invitation is an email from noreply@analytics.fabrik.ae, usually with the subject "You've been invited to Fabrik Analytics" or naming the agency that invited you. It holds one link, Accept invitation, which is for your email address only.

Before you start

• Open the link within 7 days of it being sent.
• Use the email address the invitation was sent to. You cannot change it on the page.

Step by step: with a password

1. Choose Accept invitation in the email.
2. The page shows Create account, and You've been invited to with the brand or portfolio's name. Your name and email are filled in.
3. Choose a Password of at least 12 characters, with an upper case letter, a lower case letter and a number. Passwords known from data leaks are refused.
4. Choose Create Account.
5. You are signed straight in ("Account ready") and land on the brand's Home, or on your start page if you can see several brands.

Step by step: with Google

1. On the invitation page, choose Continue with Google.
2. Pick the Google account for the invited address. Google is told which address to suggest.
3. You come back signed in, with the same access as a password sign-up.

If you pick a Google account with a different address, nothing is created and you see: "This invitation is for" the invited address. Go back to the invitation and choose the right Google account, or set a password instead.

What you get

• The role chosen for you, on the brand you were invited to.
• For a portfolio invitation, membership of the portfolio, which gives you every active brand in it. If the person who invited you can no longer invite people to that portfolio, the membership is not made: ask your agency.
• If you are agency staff, a place on the agency with your agency role, which reaches every client the agency manages.

Troubleshooting

"Invitation Invalid" with one of these lines, and a Go to Sign In button:

• "This invitation has expired": the 7 days, plus a day's grace, are up. Ask for a new invitation.
• "This invitation has already been used": it was accepted, or replaced by a newer invitation, or revoked. If you already created your account, choose Go to Sign In. Otherwise ask for a new invitation.
• "Invalid invitation link": the link is incomplete. Open it straight from the email rather than copying part of it.

"Check your email" after Create Account: your address could not be confirmed automatically. Open the confirmation email, then sign in.

An "already registered" message: a login already exists for this address. Choose Sign in and use it, or reset its password. See Reset your password or sign in with Google.
