My brand is managed by an agency: what changes?

What is different when an agency runs Fabrik Analytics for your brand, from setup and your plan to who can see your data.

4 min readUpdated 7 October 2026

Many brands use Fabrik Analytics through an agency. The agency sets up your accounts, usually pays for the plan and works on your figures, while you and your colleagues sign in to see your own brand.

What is the same

  • You sign in with your own login and see your own brand's pages: Home, Dashboard, Trading, Intelligence, Products, Orders, Customers, Markets, Paid Media, Email & CRM, Website and Reports, as your role allows.
  • Your notifications, two-factor sign-in and profile are yours to manage.

What changes

Setup is done for you

The agency's staff connect Shopify, tracking and your ad and email accounts, and set costs and targets. You do not see the setup wizard. Your Home may still show a Getting set up checklist if your role is allowed to edit brand settings.

Your plan is covered

When your agency is on a paid agency plan or its trial, its plan covers your brand with Pro. Nothing is charged to you, and Billing, if you can open it, says Included with your agency. A covered brand cannot buy a plan of its own. If you were paying for your own plan when the agency connected, it is cancelled and the unused part refunded.

An agency on the free agency plan does not cover its client. Your brand then has its own plan: a 14-day Pro trial from when setup is finished, then Free unless you choose a plan. See Is my plan covered by my agency or portfolio?.

Your Home shows your team

  • Your team at your agency: the people who work on your brand, with photos, job titles and who leads the account. Someone away shows as Away with their dates, and anyone covering for them is named.
  • Team availability: when someone on your account team is away in the coming weeks. It never says why.
  • Your partnership: since when you have worked with the agency.

Settings are scoped

Client users see Team and Notifications in Settings, and Integrations and Tracking when their role can manage integrations. Costs, targets, financial settings, the brand's details and Intelligence rules are run by the agency, even if you set them yourself before the agency connected. There is no agency section in your menu: your team at the agency is on your Home.

Who can see your brand

Open Settings, Team to see everyone who has access:

  • Everyone at your agency, shown as one row, while the connection is live.
  • Your brand's own users, with their roles.
  • Invitations not yet accepted.

The Agency connection card at the top shows since when the agency has been connected. To disconnect, ask the agency to offboard the brand.

Before you start

  • If you want someone else at your company to have access, a client owner can invite them. See Invite a colleague.
  • Requests from colleagues who sign up with your company email are decided by the agency's team. See Requests to join your brand.

Connect an agency yourself

If you run your brand yourself and start working with an agency that uses Fabrik Analytics:

  1. Ask the agency for its Fabrik ID.
  2. Open Settings, Team and, on the Agency connection card, enter it under The agency's Fabrik ID and choose Send request. You can also enter it when you sign up, in Agency ID (optional), or during your setup under Already work with an agency?
  3. The agency approves the request. It sees nothing until then.

If the agency asks you to reconnect after an earlier engagement, the card shows the request with Approve and Decline.

When an agency stops managing your brand

When the agency offboards your brand, its staff lose access. You keep your data and your logins. The agency's own Meta and Google connections stop being used for your brand, so connect your own accounts in Settings, Integrations to keep ad data flowing. Your Billing page then says the plan stays as it was until a date shown there; choose a plan before that date to keep it, or the brand moves to Free.

Troubleshooting

If something looks wrong with your figures, talk to your account team first: they set up your costs, filters and targets. For a login or access problem, email support@fabrik.ae.

Frequently asked questions

Who at the agency can see my brand?

Everyone at the agency can see your brand while the connection is live. Your Settings, Team page lists them under the agency's name. Being on your account team is about who works on it, not who can see it.

Do I pay for Fabrik Analytics?

Not while your agency is on a paid agency plan or its trial: its plan covers your brand and your Billing page, if you can see it, says Included with your agency. An agency on the free agency plan does not cover clients, so your brand has its own plan: a 14-day Pro trial from when setup is finished, then Free unless you choose one.

Can I connect my own Meta or Google Ads account?

Yes, if your role allows managing integrations, which client owners can be given. Open Settings, Integrations on your brand.

How do I disconnect my agency?

Ask the agency to offboard your brand. When it does, its staff lose access and your data stays. Your plan carries on until a date shown on Billing, then moves to Free unless you choose one.

Why can I not open the setup wizard?

The agency's team runs setup for brands it manages. Use your Home checklist if one is shown, or ask your account team.

How do I contact my account team?

Fabrik Analytics has no messaging. Your Home shows who is on your account team, and your agency talks with you outside the app, for example by email or in a shared Slack channel.
