Is my plan covered by my agency or portfolio?
When an agency or a portfolio's Enterprise plan pays for your brand, there is nothing to buy. Here is how to tell and what happens to your own plan.

Some brands never pay Fabrik Analytics directly. If your agency manages your brand, or your brand sits in a portfolio with an Enterprise plan, that plan covers you and there is nothing for you to buy.
Before you start
There are two ways a brand can be covered:
- By its agency. While the brand works with an agency on Fabrik Analytics and that agency is on a paid agency plan or its free trial, the agency's plan includes the brand, with Pro. An agency on the free agency plan does not cover its client: the brand stays on its own plan.
- By its portfolio's Enterprise plan. One Enterprise plan covers every brand in the portfolio.
How to check
- Inside the brand, open Settings, then Billing, or choose Billing from the menu under your name. (Client users of a covered brand do not see Billing in the menu.)
- Read the Your plan card:
- Included badge and "Included with your agency": the agency covers it. A card underneath says "Included with {agency}: {agency} covers this brand's plan while you work together, so there is nothing to buy here."
- Portfolio plan badge and "Covered by {portfolio}'s Enterprise plan": the portfolio covers it. A card says "The portfolio's Enterprise plan covers every brand in it, so there is no plan to choose for this brand", with the date the plan runs until if it has one.
- No plan cards or checkout are shown, because there is nothing to choose.
For a portfolio, open the portfolio, then Settings, Billing. A portfolio managed by an agency shows "{agency} covers every brand in {portfolio} while you work together, so there is nothing to buy here", with a Covered badge and its brands listed.
If you were already paying
- Your agency connects: when the agency's connection to your brand goes live and the agency's plan covers its clients, your own plan is cancelled automatically and the unused part of your last payment is refunded. If the agency is on the free agency plan, your own plan carries on. You receive "{agency} now covers the plan for {brand}". Nothing changes in the app: everything stays open.
- You join a portfolio on Enterprise: you receive "{brand} is now on {portfolio}'s Enterprise plan". The brand's Billing page says the brand "also pays for its own plan" and that it can be ended. Choose Open Billing in that email, then End paid plan on Your plan, to stop paying twice.
What you will see when cover ends
- Agency engagement ends: the agency offboards the brand. You receive "{brand}: your workspace is now yours to manage". Everything stays exactly as it is until the date in that email. Choose a plan before then to keep your current one; otherwise the brand moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
- A brand leaves the portfolio: it goes back to its own plan straight away.
- The portfolio's Enterprise plan ends: each brand goes back to its own plan.
Troubleshooting
- Checkout is refused for a covered brand: this is expected. Someone else already pays for the brand.
- The page says you are covered, but you expected to pay: ask your agency whether its connection to your brand is live, or email support@fabrik.ae.
- A refund has not arrived after 10 working days: email support@fabrik.ae with the brand name and the date of the email.
