Invite a colleague
Invite someone to your brand with the role you choose, what the email and link do, how seats are counted, and how to renew or revoke an invitation.

Everyone who uses Fabrik Analytics should have their own sign-in. Inviting a colleague creates an invitation for their email address with the role you choose; they finish it by setting a password or continuing with Google.
Before you start
- You need Manage users on the brand. Client Owners have it by default. Agency staff who manage users can invite people to any client they work on.
- Check your seats. Free includes 2 client seats and Growth 10. People with access and invitations not yet accepted both count. Pro and higher have no seat limit, and agency staff never take a seat.
- Decide the role first. See Roles and what each can do. A role applies to every brand a person can see.
Step by step
- Open your brand. Client users go to Settings, Team. Agency staff go to the client's Account, Access.
- Choose Invite a client user. A form titled Invite Member to your brand opens.
- Fill in First Name and Last Name (both required), Email Address and, if you like, Job Title.
- Choose a Role. The form starts on Client Owner, so change it if your colleague needs less.
- Choose Send Invitation.
What happens next
The server checks that you may give that role on this brand, and that a seat is free. Then one of two things happens:
- A new address. An invitation is created and emailed straight away. The email comes from noreply@analytics.fabrik.ae, names your agency if one manages your brand, and has an Accept invitation button. You see "Invitation emailed to" the address, and the form shows the link with a copy button and "This link expires in 7 days."
- An address that already has a login. No invitation is made. They can see your brand at once and get an email, "You now have access to" your brand. The form says they "already had a login, so they can see" your brand now. See Invite someone who already has a login.
Until they accept, the person is listed under Invitations ("Not yet accepted") with Invited, or Expired once the 7 days are up. After they accept, they move to your brand's users.
Manage an invitation
On the invitation's row:
- Copy link copies the invitation link so you can send it yourself.
- Revoke cancels it. The link stops working at once and the seat is freed.
- Resend emails the same link again. It does not make the link last longer. On a brand's own Settings, Team page, Resend is currently refused with "Agency access required": use Copy link, or invite the address again.
To renew an expired invitation, choose Invite a client user again with the same email address. The old invitation is replaced by a new link that lasts 7 days, and a new email is sent.
What your colleague does
They open the link, set a password or choose Continue with Google, and are signed straight in. See Accept an invitation.
Troubleshooting
"All N seats on the X plan are in use, counting invitations not yet accepted.": remove someone, revoke an invitation nobody will use, or move to a bigger plan.
"Invitation created, but the email could not be queued. Copy the link to share it.": the invitation exists. Copy the link and send it yourself.
"This address has unsubscribed or previously bounced": our email cannot reach that address. Copy the link and send it another way.
"You cannot give someone a role above your own.": choose a role no stronger than yours, or ask your agency.
"This person already has a login as" another role: a person holds one role for every brand they see. Invite them with the role named in the message, or use another email address.
"This person works for an agency on Fabrik Analytics.": agency staff reach clients through their agency, never through an invitation.
"This login already has access without a client role": email support@fabrik.ae and we will sort it out.
"Agency access required" when you choose Resend or Send Email Invite: use Copy link instead, or invite the address again for a fresh email.
