How does the free trial work?

New brands get a 14-day free trial of Pro, so you can see Intelligence, Products, Marketing, the P&L and two years of history on your own data before you choose a plan.

Before you start

• The trial is for brands that run Fabrik Analytics themselves. A brand managed by an agency is covered by the agency's plan and does not need one.
• There is one trial per workspace: one per brand, one per agency, and one shared trial for all brands in a self-serve portfolio.
• Installing the app does not start the trial. An install you never finish setting up does not use it up.
• No card is needed to start a brand's trial.

When the trial starts

The trial starts at whichever comes first:

1. Setup is finished. When you finish the setup wizard (choose Start on its last step), the 14 days begin. Starting the clock then means every day of the trial runs with your store and ad data in place.
2. You check out. If you buy a plan before finishing setup, your one trial starts at checkout. Finishing setup later never starts a second trial.

While setup is unfinished, the Billing page shows your plan as Pro with a Trial badge, "Free during the trial", and Trial starts: When setup is finished.

During the trial

1. Open Billing from the menu under your name, or from the brand's Settings, Billing.
2. Your plan shows Pro, the Trial badge and Trial ends with the date.
3. You can choose a plan at any time with Choose {plan name}. A plan bought during the trial is billed from the day the trial ends, so you never pay for trial days. A plan bought after the trial has ended is billed at once.

Emails you receive

• Your 14-day Pro trial has started, with the end date.
• Your Pro trial ends in 3 days, three days before the end.
• Your Pro trial has ended, if you have not chosen a plan.

When the trial ends

• If you chose a plan, it simply carries on.
• If not, the brand moves to Free: a 30-day dashboard, your integrations, tracking and a team of two. Intelligence and the rest of Pro lock until you choose a plan. Your data keeps importing and nothing is deleted.

Agency trials

Agency Studio and Agency Scale come with a 14-day free trial, started at checkout from the agency's Billing page. An agency gets it once: an agency that has paid for a plan before does not get another.

Troubleshooting

• The trial seems to have started early: a checkout was started before setup was finished. That started your one trial.
• No trial was offered at checkout: this workspace has already had a trial or a paid plan.
• Your trial ended but you still see Pro: a plan may be covering the brand, for example an agency or a portfolio's Enterprise plan. Your plan says which.
