How many clients can a free agency have?

The free agency plan allows one client, which stays on its own plan. What counts as a client, how to see your allowance and how to add more.

A new agency starts on the free agency plan. It is free, has no end date and allows one client, so you can try Fabrik Analytics with a real client before choosing a plan.

Before you start

  • Your allowance is on your agency's Billing page. To open it you need to manage billing: the agency's owner, a director or the CFO.
  • A client counts while its connection to your agency is live or approved and has not ended.

What the free plan does and does not do

The client's own planIts own: a 14-day Pro trial from setup, then FreeCovered by your plan, with Pro

So on the free plan the client's own people may see some pages locked once its trial ends, and its owner may be offered plans on its Billing page.

See your allowance

  1. Open the menu under your name and choose Billing.
  2. On Your plan, read Clients, for example "1 of 1", and Staff seats.

Add more clients

  1. On the Billing page, scroll to the plans.
  2. Compare Agency Studio, Agency Scale and Agency Enterprise. Each card shows the clients and staff seats included and the price of each extra one.
  3. Choose Agency Studio or Agency Scale to check out, with a free trial if your agency has not had one. Agency Enterprise is agreed with Fabrik: choose Talk to us.
  4. Once the plan starts, Clients shows the new limit, your clients are covered and you can connect more.

What you will see when the limit is reached

Adding a second client, or approving a second brand's request, is refused with a message that a free agency can have 1 client and that you can choose Agency Studio or higher, or start its free trial, from Billing.

On a paid plan whose clients are all in use and which has no extra-client price: "The agency's plan includes {n} clients and all are in use. Upgrade the agency plan to connect another."

Troubleshooting

  • You offboarded a client but still cannot add another: a client counts until its connection ends on the offboarding's effective date.
  • The Clients figure shows "Not read": refresh the page.
  • You cannot open Billing: ask your agency's owner, or email support@fabrik.ae.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a client?

A brand whose connection to your agency is live or approved and has not ended. Requests still waiting for an answer, declined requests and offboarded clients do not count.

Does my one free client get Pro?

Not from your plan. On the free agency plan your client stays on its own plan: a 14-day Pro trial from when its setup is finished, then Free unless it chooses a plan. Your staff see everything on it either way.

Does a paid agency plan have a trial?

Yes. Agency Studio and Agency Scale come with a free trial, once per agency, started when you choose the plan. During the trial your clients are covered.

What happens to my clients if my paid agency plan ends?

The agency moves to the free agency plan. Nothing is deleted, but your clients are no longer covered and you cannot connect another while you have more than one.

Can I pay for just one more client?

Paid agency plans include a number of clients and charge a set price for each extra client beyond them. The free plan has no extra-client option.
