Put a group of brands on one Enterprise plan

How Enterprise covers every brand in a portfolio with one bill, how each brand is counted by its online sales, and how to buy it at checkout.

Enterprise puts every brand in a portfolio on one plan, with one bill and the portfolio features: a portfolio dashboard, a portfolio P&L, group costs split across brands, pooled targets and portfolio Intelligence. You can buy it yourself at checkout from the portfolio's Billing page.

Before you start

  • You need a portfolio with at least one brand in it.
  • You need to manage the portfolio's billing. That is the portfolio's owner.
  • The portfolio must run itself. A portfolio managed by an agency is covered by the agency's plan and is never offered Enterprise.
  • For current prices see our pricing page. The Billing page always shows the exact price for your brands today.

How the price is worked out

Enterprise includes a number of brands in its base price (shown on the plan card). Each extra brand is added at the rate card price, and the price per extra brand steps down as the group grows larger.

Bigger brands count for more. Each brand counts once, and once more for every further £10M of online sales over the last 12 months:

Brand's online sales, last 12 monthsCounts as
Up to £10M1 brand
Over £10M, up to £20M2 brands
Over £20M, up to £30M3 brands

For example, a portfolio of three brands, Fellwick at £4M and two sister brands at £6M and £14M, counts as four brands: one each for the first two, and two for the brand at £14M.

Sales are your online net sales, converted to GBP, with each brand's Shopify filters applied. You never work this out yourself: the server counts your brands and the page shows the result.

Step by step

  1. Open the portfolio, then Settings, Billing.
  2. The card One plan for every brand shows Enterprise priced for your brands now, with a line such as "4 brands, counted as 5 by online sales: 3 included, 2 extra".
  3. Choose Monthly or Annual, 2 months free, and your currency: GBP, USD or AED.
  4. Choose Choose this plan. Stripe's checkout opens in the page.
  5. Pay. You return to "Payment received", and the plan appears a moment later once Stripe confirms.

A single brand can also choose Enterprise on its own Billing page. It is then counted by its own sales bands in the same way.

What you will see

The portfolio's Billing page shows the Enterprise plan card:

  • "Bought at checkout: the bill follows the brands in the portfolio, counted by their online sales."
  • Period, Brands included ("Up to 3", for example), Brands covered and Billed ("By card, through Stripe").
  • The brands in the portfolio, each linking to its own Billing page.
  • Manage card and details and the portfolio's Invoices.

Each brand's own Billing page shows the Portfolio plan badge and "Covered by {portfolio}'s Enterprise plan".

When brands join, leave or grow

  • A brand added to the portfolio is covered at once and added to the bill, prorated.
  • A brand that leaves comes off the bill and goes back to its own plan.
  • To end the plan, email support@fabrik.ae from the portfolio owner's address. It covers the brands to the end of the period paid for, then each brand goes back to its own plan.
  • Every night, each brand's last 12 months of sales are counted again. A brand that moves into a new £10M band changes the bill from then on, prorated.

Troubleshooting

  • "Add a brand to the portfolio first, then choose the plan.": the portfolio is empty.
  • "Your agency's plan covers this portfolio.": there is nothing to buy.
  • "This portfolio is already on an Enterprise plan.": it is already covered.
  • "Enterprise is not on sale right now.": choose Talk to us and Fabrik will set it up.
  • "Talk to us about one plan for all your brands" with no price: checkout is not open for this portfolio. Choose Talk to us.
  • If payment fails and is not resolved after the final notice, the Enterprise plan ends and each brand goes back to its own plan. Nothing is deleted. See What happens when a payment fails?.

Frequently asked questions

How is each brand counted?

Each brand counts once, plus once more for every further £10M of online sales it made over the last 12 months. A brand with £8M counts once, £15M counts twice, £30M counts three times.

What happens when we add a brand to the portfolio?

It is covered straight away and added to the bill, prorated for the rest of the period. A brand that leaves comes off the bill and goes back to its own plan.

Does the price change if a brand grows?

Yes. Brand counts are checked every night. If a brand crosses into a new £10M band, the bill follows from then on, prorated.

Do brands keep paying for their own plans?

A brand that was paying for its own plan is told it is now covered. End that brand's own paid plan from its Billing page so you do not pay twice.

Our agency manages our portfolio. Do we need Enterprise?

No. A portfolio managed by an agency is covered by the agency's plan, so it is never offered Enterprise and there is nothing to buy.

Can we agree a custom price instead?

Yes. Fabrik can set up a custom deal for larger groups. Use Talk to us on the Billing page, or the demo form on our website.
